Hijo de José Corts Bosch y de Isabel Grau Viel. Inicia su formación académica estudiando en el Colegio de la Concepción de los Franciscanos de Ontinyent (Valencia). Obtiene el grado de Bachiller en el Instituto General y Técnico de Valencia. Cursa en la Universidad de Valencia la licenciatura y el Doctorado en Derecho. Pensionado por la Junta para Ampliación de Estudios en Friburgo (Alemania). Su carrera académica comienza siendo profesor ayudante de la Facultad de Derecho de Valencia. En la Universidad de Granada consigue la cátedra de Filosofía del Derecho. Regresa a la Universidad de Valencia haciéndose cargo de la cátedra de Derecho Natural y Filosofía del Derecho. Además, es nombrado Vicedecano, Vicerrector y Rector de esta Universidad. Es depurado en 1936 y regresa a su cátedra en 1939. Otras actividades que desempeña son: Presidente del Patronato de la Universidad de Valencia. Académico del Centro de Cultura Valenciana y de la Real Academia de Ciencias Morales y Políticas Miembro honorario Universidades N. República Argentina.

He was the son of José Corts Bosh and Isabel Grau Viel. He started his academic training studying at the Franciscan School of Ontinyet (Valencia). He got the baccalaureate at the General Technical Institute of Valencia. He studied a degree and a doctorate on Law at the University of Valencia and he received a scholarship from the Council for Extension of Studies in Freiburg (Germany). He started his academic career being an assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Law in Valencia. He got the chair of Law Philosophy at the University of Granada, however, he came back to the University of Valencia and he took office of the chair of Natural Law and Law Philosophy. Moreover, he was appointed Vice Dean, Vice rector and rector of this University. He was sanctioned in 1936 and he recovered his chair in 1939. He held other positions such as: President of the patronage at the University of Valencia. Scholar at the Cultural Centre from Valencia and the Royal Academy of Moral and Political Sciences. Honorary member from the Universities of the Republic of Argentina.
